The Phoenix East congregation of United Church of God is pleased to announce the upcoming 2009 Women's Weekend. During times of personal and economic stress, we might tend towards self-preservation.  Yet, this is the time to be “Loving in Deed.”  Serving others is Gods way!  Join us for an inspiring weekend promoting deeds of Godliness.

Silent Auction

We will be conducting a silent auction with proceeds going to benefit “Good Works” and “LifeNets” projects.  Donated items are requested.  Please contact Lorelei Nettles for additional information. 

Location

Sabbath services and all Women's Weekend activities will be held at Temple Emanuel located at 5801 S. Rural Rd. in Tempe, Arizona. Directions: From US 60, take the Rural Rd. exit and go south for approximately one mile. Temple Emanuel is on the east side of Rural Rd. at 5801.

Registration Information

To make this weekend affordable to everyone we are offering housing with a Phoenix East hostess.  The fee for the weekend activities is $25.00, this will include Saturday evening banquet, Sunday continental breakfast and Sunday Luncheon.   For those attending only Saturday night or Sunday, the fee is $15.00.  Please make checks payable to “UCG Phoenix East.”
